The Maxalto 2020 collection is a project that aims to represent an evolution of the brand, a continuous game of memory and innovation, combining a series of new pieces with a great work on existing best sellers, given by aesthetic functions, such as the introduction of over 30 new exclusive fabrics, unpublished seams and precious materials which are functional.
“Maxalto’s house” according to Antonio Citterio, consists of new rooms, animated by furniture and materials from the new collection. APOLLO
Linear sofa in two sizes, curved sofa, sofa with chaise longue, dormeuse and swivel armchair: these are the different elements that make up this seating collection with its distinct personality.
They all have pleasantly curved but rigorous form, creating a very harmonious balanced aesthetic. The backrest design, seat depth, contoured shapes and generous padding are all elements that make Apollo extremely welcoming and comfortable. A rich selection of upholstery includes a wide range of fine fabrics and leathers.
AURAE
Geometric volumes raised off the floor and soft clean rigorous lines are the distinctive characteristics of Aurae sofas.
This collection offers a high level of formal elegance, with linear seating in five dimensions with a generous depth, completed by soft backrest cushions to guarantee maximum comfort. Carefully crafted tailored details on exclusive fabric upholstery are embellished with a faux leather trim that defines the shape
LITHOS
A series of cabinets/display elements and low tables destined to safeguard and exhibit the most precious objects with great elegance. Ideal for both homes and commercial spaces, to be placed also in the centre of the room, these pieces allow their contents to be viewed, extracted and repositioned easily with perfect order.
ALCOR
Alcor is a family of cabinets, sideboards and consoles marked by rigorous aesthetic paired with precious wood surfaces, expression of the excellence of Maxalto’s artisan processes. Offered in different configurations, dimensions and heights, with hinged and flap doors, drawers and open compartments, these pieces have an inlaid damier checkerboard pattern in various woods to choose from: tineo, natural wenge and oak in the various finishes included in the collection. The collection also includes three dining tables that are decorated with the checkerboard motif on the top and come in two rectangular sizes and one square version. The entire series has a visually light structure with aluminium supports painted in graphite and amber finishes
