A Gallery for Living: Inside the Lark Street Residence

A Gallery for Living: Inside the Lark Street Residence

On a quiet street, behind a facade of silver travertine carved into subtle facets that catch light and shadow, stands a home that feels both contemporary and timeless. The Lark Street Residence is a masterclass in restraint, where a clean, minimal palette allows space for what truly matters: the art of living, and the art that fills it.

Designed by Nazareno Architecture + Design, with principal architect Anthony Nazareno at the helm, the home achieves a balance of beauty and functionality. “The goal was to create a house that will age gracefully,” Nazareno shares. “Every detail—from the materials to the furniture—was chosen with longevity in mind.”

That moment of restraint makes the reveal even more powerful. The living room unfolds as the true heart of the home: expansive, light-filled, and layered with both art and comfort. A neutral canvas of Iranian travertine allows the homeowners’ striking art collection to take center stage, while Nazareno’s curation of furniture adds structure and softness in equal measure.

The result is a residence that goes beyond trends. It is a home designed not just for today, but for decades of memories to come—a true collaboration between architect, client, and the best of Italian design.
